Reflections of Fall is an atmospheric landscape study exploring color, reflection, and the quiet stillness of autumn light. Captured during peak seasonal transition, the photograph transforms reflected trees, layered foliage, and softened water movement into a contemplative composition of luminous golds, muted greens, and deep shadow tones. Drawing from the painterly color sensibilities of Ernst Haas and the restrained pacing of reflective landscape photography, the image emphasizes atmosphere, abstraction, and the emotional calm created when light and water briefly align.
The composition balances mirrored reflections against subtle movement within the water surface, allowing the scene to function simultaneously as landscape and abstraction. Rather than documenting autumn literally, the photograph focuses on the shifting visual rhythm created through reflection, color layering, and softened natural texture.
