Before the Night Speaks is a study of transition, scale, and the fragile boundary between the known world and the cosmos. Photographed above the Green River in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, during the final moments of blue hour, the image captures the landscape as daylight quietly yields to the emerging Milky Way. The river canyon, carved over millions of years, becomes a foreground to a much older story written across the night sky.
Drawing inspiration from the color sensibilities of Ernst Haas and the contemplative grandeur of the American West, the photograph explores a moment suspended between earth and universe.
